Overview

Barkha Chhabra is a finance professional and brings with her more than 20 years of diverse experience in an All India Financial Institution group. Her role spans across a vast expanse of cross functional areas as credit, asset reconstruction, fund raising, alternate investment fund and credit enhancement guarantees. She has worked on financial restructuring of under-performing companies and has kick-started the operations of Assets Care & Reconstruction Enterprise (ACRE), now one of the leading ARCs of the country. She has successfully led a public issue of bonds besides privately placing a range of long-term instruments aggregating to INR 60 bn.

She was the Chief Operating Officer in the group’s Venture Capital Fund and administered the Credit Enhancement Scheme for Scheduled castes under the aegis of MoSJE, GOI, essentially in the MSME segment.
